Update!

Ok, so my friend wrote a film that we're going to be making in November that is going to be promoted through Aquire the Fire in January.  It's going to be pretty cool, and you all know that I am not an actress (hehe) so I am actually going to be a production assistant.  The film is really about knocking down denominational walls that we have so cleverly built around ourselves.  Our goal is to get this out to youth groups so if you have any contacts with youth pastors, let me know!

I'm auditioning for a movie tonight.  No joke.

You reap what you sow....or maybe not.

The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life.  What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!  You know the saying 'One plants and another harvests.' And it's true.  I sent you to harvest where you didn't plant; others had already done the work , and now you will get to gather the harvest."  Jesus Christ- John 4:36-38

So last week was Vacation Bible School and it was a little weird for me.  For the last three years, I've been working in more of a director position, which meant that I didn't really work directly with any particular class.  I just kinda helped where people needed, and I got to know kids from all of the different ages.  This year, because I'm working nights, I knew I could only be there for the first three nights, so I co-taught a class with my good friend, Mary.  So I was kinda sad on my last night, Wednesday, because I felt like I hadn't really made an impact on any of the kids.  No one had made any spiritual decisions, and I just felt a little disappointed.  I mean, we had an amazing time at VBS.  God was so faithful with everything that we prayed about.  We had more kids than ever, we didn't have a single drop of rain during the VBS hours and we had plenty of help from the church.  But I was just feeling like if the only thing that the kids came away with was a fun week, then we didn't really do our job.  BUTTTTT, as I was leaving work on Friday morning, I got a call from Mary that one of the boys that has been coming to kids club for the last few months accepted Christ as his Savior on Thursday night.  I was so moved that I started crying in my car.  But again, I was sad that I wasn't there to whitness that.  Then God reminded me of this passage that I had just read two days earlier.  Sometimes we are planters and sometimes we are harvesters and sometimes we get the chance to be both.  But each job is so important and it's our responsiblity to do each.  God is so good and I'm so glad that He let me be a planter!

Hey! Does anyone know of someone that would want a REALLY cute baby kitten??? They are almost two months old, they are litter box trained and they eat solid food. I have two boys and one girl. The girl is grey stripped and so is one of the boys. The other boy is solid grey and they are all playful! PLEASE let me know ASAP if you can think of anyone!

Weddings, weddings everywhere!  I don't think I'll every get used to the fact that I'm at an age where my friends are getting married.  It makes me feel so young and so old at the same time.  That's wierd.
